Playing 4K video with eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ sound, the MAG522w3 set-top box also features a USB connector for connecting additional devices.
In comparison to older MAG STBs, its performance is increased by 25% thanks to its use of the strong Amlogic S905X2 chipset and quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU. You do not have to reboot the gadget for months at a time.
The Internet can be accessed using either a 100 Mbit/s Ethernet connector or an integrated dual-band Wi-Fi adapter. The maximum throughput of the wireless connection is 550 Mbit/s at 5 GHz and 100 Mbit/s at 2.4 GHz.
The lightweight ABS plastic used to make the remote control makes it easy to hold and operate. The sleek micro2 casing of the STB ensures that it will look great in any home.

WHAT CONTENT SOURCES ARE THERE FOR VIEWING ON LINUX STBS?Connect to your Internet provider’s IPTV/OTT service or subscribe to an external operator that provides this service to watch video and listen to audio content. Also, you can load your M3U, M3U8, PLS, or CUE playlists to the STB, while their content will be loaded from the Internet automatically.
A server in your local network or external storage, such as a hard drive, are possible alternative content sources.
