The Amlogic S905X2 chipset and ARM Cortex-A53 CPU are the brains of the MAG524w3 Linux set-top box. These devices can play 4K HDR video at 60 frames per second and have a performance increase of 25 percent over their predecessors. High-definition media allows viewers to experience sharp images with rich colors. Because of the HEVC codec, consumers may enjoy this media even when their connection is slow.
Through the use of eight channels, Dolby Digital Plus™ surround sound puts the audience right in the middle of the action.
The MAG524w3 has both an Ethernet port for wired connections and an integrated 2T2R ac Wi-Fi radio for wireless ones.
